Benefits of Using Green Tea Capsules and Raspberry Ketones Together

One of the most powerful and effective ways of taking supplements is through a process known as stacking; stacking simply means taking several supplements together rather than separately. Taken in this fashion, certain combinations have the potential to become synergistic, or more effective together than they would be separately. One such combination is Raspberry Ketones and Green Tea extract capsules.

Benefits of Green Tea Extract

Residents of the Far East have known of pure Green Tea Extract for centuries, but in the west we have only recently rediscovered this amazing supplement. It contains a large number of polyphenols and anti-oxidants. These help the body to eliminate free radicals from the system as well as helping to fight disease and infection in general. Some of these anti-oxidants may actually also help to fight off effects of a fatty diet and even smoking. Another benefit of Green Tea Extract is that it helps to speed up the metabolism and burning of fat without increasing the heart rate.

What Are Raspberry Ketones?

Raspberry Ketones are taken from the aroma components of natural red raspberries. They are also very expensive and used as flavorings by both the food and cosmetic industries. They contain a fair amount of anti-oxidants, which help to rid the body of poisons. Additionally, some research has indicated that they might be helpful at stimulating the release of the hormone norepinephrine, which does have an effect of increasing metabolism. If you listen to the Dr. Oz show, you might also be aware that Raspberry Ketones may help to raise the levels of additional hormones which break up fat and lower insulin resistance.

Pure Green Tea Extract and Raspberry Ketones Combined

There are a few different theories about to stack these two supplements together. One thought is to stagger them both throughout the day, maybe starting with say, 100 mg of Raspberry Ketones in the morning and then maybe 200 mg or so of pure Green Tea extract in the middle of the day. Or, just take both together upon waking in the morning and then again after dinner (give yourself a few hours before planning to sleep).
